AIRCRETE Europe, based in the Netherlands, has been supplying plants to customers worldwide for the production of autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) and its green-friendly solution has merited and entry into the Green Trail.

AAC- also known as autoclaved lightweight concrete – enjoys Strong demand as it provides structure, insulation and fire Resistance in one single material and comes in the form of bricks, Blocks decoration and partition panels, reinforced walls, flooring And roofing panels, lintels, U-blocks and free-form products.

Aircrete´s system enables production with a minimum of raw materials, facilitates recycling and keeps energy costs low, says a company spokesman. Cost can decline by as much as 50 per cent with energy savings as high as 30 per cent, it claims.

Products that the system brings out are thick and provide Insulation, making it generally quite unnecessary to add additional Insulation material, says the company. They are easy to crush and Can be sent back into the manufacturing process for reuse.

Along with plant machinery, the company supplies the chemical know-how, the automation of the machines, plant commissioning and staff training. The company also offers to modify existing plants to increase and upgrade production.

Several factories have been producing millions o cubic meters of AAC all over the world, using system supplied and upgrade by the Aircrete Group, including Thermostone in Dubai. “We´ve already delivered plants to various Global markets,” says Jim Holland, a senior product engineer. “The whole of the Gulf region is a good market for Aircrete”.
